After suffering a torn ACL the January before his freshman season, Graham had to take a redshirt during the 2007 season. Prior to the season he was rated the 38th best freshman in the nation by Baseball America. At Mills E. Goodwin High School in Richmond, Va., he was ranked the No. 71 prospect in the country by Baseball America and the sixth best in the state of Virginia by Perfect Game. He had his breakout year as a junior, earning first team All-Metro and second-team All-District honors, by hitting .313 with three home runs and 25 RBIs, while going 5-0 with a 0.21 ERA on the mound. Graham is a pre-business major.
