Born in Plymouth, Wis. but raised in Acworth, Ga., Ben arrived on the scene as a freshman at Clemson in 2007 and hit .258 with five home runs and 20 RBIs, starting 46 games. Ranked 135th best prospect in the nation and fifth best in Georgia by Perfect Game, he was an All-State honoree at Kell High School and a two-time letterman. Ben is a pre-business major.
