Dale returns to Hyannis for a second season after platooning at catcher last summer, a year in which he hit .224 with six RBIs. The sophomore catcher was the everyday starter for the Central Michigan Chippewas as a freshman in '07, when he hit .249. Michigan’s Co-Mr. Baseball for 2006 at Homer High School helped lead his prep squad to a national-record 78 consecutive victories.
