At South Caldwell High School in Hudson, N.C., Jimmy led his team to a state title in 2007 when he earned all-state honors as a junior.  He was a 44th round pick of the Oakland Athletics in the 2008 draft after a senior season that saw him win conference pitcher of the year.  Jimmy has not yet declared a major.
