McKeon Park Renovation Project — HOW YOU CAN HELP!

The Hyannis Athletic Association (Hyannis Mets), in conjunction with Pope John Paul II High School, is coordinating a major renovation of Mckeon Park in Downtown Hyannis.

The renovations include but are not limited to the return of the night use of the park and the renovations of the press box/concession stands.

The return of lighting of the park is the first priority. It is a $400,000 project. It includes $230,000 for the purchase of the lights and $170,000 for the installation. As of today we have raised the $230,000 and have purchased the lights. We have also raised $62,000 for a total of $292,000 out of the $400,000 project. In addition, we have raised significant money towards the press box and scoreboard components of the project.

The Hyannis Athletic Association has a long history of partnerships with local business and governments in leveraging money with donated materials and in-kind donations of labor to maximize impact. 100% of money raised goes into the project. The Hyannis Athletic Association does not charge any overhead to manage the project.

Mckeon Park is used by many organizations and individuals including the Hyannis Mets, Pope John Paul II High School, Saint Francis Xavier Preparatory School, Sturgis Charter High School, Barnstable American Legion Post 206, and many other groups.

The Hyannis Athletic Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization under applicable state and federal laws. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
