2003 Hyannis Mets Affiliate: Chicago Cubs Assignment: Chicago Level: MLB 2007 Season: Sam earned a September call-up to the Cubs, making his way into 14 games as an outfielder and pinch runner. He is still without his first big league hit, but he scored three runs and drew three walks. He hit .290 at AA-Tennessee and .269 in 14 games for AAA-Iowa. updated 2/13/2008 |
